Sava Center is the largest congress, cultural and business centre in Serbia, as well as in the region. This congress complex is situated in one of the most attractive parts of Belgrade, only five minutes away from the city centre and fifteen minutes away from the airport, alongside the E-70 Highway. For those coming by car, Congress Centre has a large parking area for more than 900 vehicles (with parking charge of 50 Eurocents per hour app.).

Official Language

The official language of the Meeting is English. No simultaneous interpretation will be provided.

Badges

Badges will be distributed at the registration desks.
Participants without badges will not be admitted to the Meeting activities.

Scientific Program

The scientific program includes the ESA Lecture, symposia, free papers sessions, poster presentations, a course and case presentations.

Official Letter of Invitation

Official letter of invitation for authorization to attend the Meeting or visa purposes can be sent upon written request to the Secretariat. For invitation letter, please send the following information to the Secretariat: title, name, surname, address and institution name.

A valid passport is required for entering the Republic of Serbia. Citizens from the most of European countries, USA, Canada, Australia etc. do not need a visa to enter Serbia. Participants are however recommended to check when making travel arrangements (information of this type are a subject to change, but should be available at http://www.mfa.gov.yu/Visas/f_without_visa.htm).

CME

The conference will be CME-certified.

Commercial Exhibition

A commercial exhibition of technical equipment, instruments and pharmaceutical products will take place and will be open throughout the whole course of the Meeting.

Personal Accident and Insurance Liability

The Organiser and Secretariat will not accept responsibility for any loss, accident etc incurred during the Meeting. Participants are responsible for ensuring that they have adequate cover while attending this Meeting.

Accessibility

Belgrade is a crossroads of Eastern and Western Europe, easy to reach by plane, train or bus and car.

Nikola Tesla Airport is connected via regular routes to 39 destinations worldwide, served both by local carrier Jat Airways and by 18 foreign airlines. It is 20 minutes away from the City Centre and 15 minutes away from the Congress Centre, using Jat Airways buses, public transportation and taxi (average taxi fare from the airport to the city is around 15 Euros).
Sava Centre is visibly located alongside the E-70 Highway. Take the right exit following the signs.
Public transportation in Belgrade includes buses, trolley buses and tramways.
Taxi transportation is the most convenient for visitors, with very reasonable prices.

Climate

Belgrade has a moderate continental climate, with four seasons. Autumn is longer than spring, with longer sunny and warm periods - the so-called Indian summer. The average temperature in October is 15 degrees Celsius.

Local time in Serbia during the Congress is Central European Time (GMT+2 hours).
